Abstract (short description of the LED knowledge resource) The Local Economic Development Strategies Conference in Amman, Jordan, gathered 188 attendees from 10 countries including Jordan, Egypt, Lebanon, Morocco, Palestine, Yemen, Italy, Switzerland, Germany and the United Kingdom. New strategies, tools and resources were identified and shared to maximize the quality, coverage and impact of LED initiatives in the Middle East & North Africa. In light of its regional impact, the Regional LED Conference received wide media coverage. The participating institutions, recommendations, presentations and photos are available in the Regional LED Section at www.bdcconferences.com.
