| Abstract (short description of the LED knowledge resource) | What social and economic opportunities can arise from greener local systems? What are the key drivers of green employment? How can local communities invest to improve the quality of their environment and generate decent jobs at the local level? What participatory mechanisms can be used to foster sustainable social, economic, environmental and institutional development at the local, provincial or regional level? These are some of the questions that will be addressed during the Seminar to be held from 10 - 21 May 2010 at the International Training Centre of the ILO in Turin, Italy. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx ¿Qué oportunidades económicas y sociales pueden surgir de sistemas de economÃa local más verdes? ¿Cuáles son los sectores claves del empleo verde? ¿Cómo descubrir las oportunidades económicas y sociales de sistemas locales más verdes? ¿Cómo pueden las comunidades locales invertir para mejorar la calidad de su entorno y al mismo tiempo generar empleo decente a nivel local? ¿Qué mecanismos participativos se pueden utilizar para promover un desarrollo sostenible desde el punto de vista ambiental, social, económico e institucional a nivel local, provincial o regional? Estas son algunas de las cuestiones que se abordarán en el seminario “DEL y Empleos Verdes: Estrategias locales para una economÃa verde" que tendrá lugar del 10 al 21 de mayo de 2010 en el Centro Internacional de Formación (CIF) de la OIT en TurÃn, Italia. |
